ODP Announcement 22-054 is to alert all Medication Administration Trainers that important infrastructural changes to the Medication Administration Training Program will take place Wednesday, June 8, 2022, through Sunday, July 10, 2022, which will cause an outage. If you attempt to conduct a class or complete any training on the system during this outage, your work will be lost. All sites related to the Medication Administration Training Program will be unavailable.

The specific sites affected are:

The outage is scheduled to begin at 12:00 am, Wednesday, June 8, 2022. If you are able to access the course after 12:00 am that morning, please note that the system may become unavailable at any time later that morning without additional notice. That means that if you are working in the system after this date and time, the system could suddenly become unavailable and your work would be lost. Please do not access the system after the scheduled outage period begins.

ODP Announcement 22-052 announces that the Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) is prepared to begin making Gross Adjustments to providers for the ODP waiver services billed at old fee schedule rates during the months of January and February 2022. It is their intention to do one Gross Adjustment per MPI, which will be applied to the provider’s highest billing service location.

Please complete a brief survey to advise ODP of the status of your January and February billing. The link to the QuestionPro survey can be found here. The survey will remain open until May 15.

  • If your January and February billing was complete as of May 1, 2022, ODP will process the Gross Adjustment during May.
  • If your January and February billing was not completed by May 1, 2022, ODP will wait until June to process the Gross Adjustment.
  • If ODP does not receive your response to the QuestionPro survey, they will process your Gross Adjustment in June.

The previously scheduled webinars for the Western and Southeast regions on May 3 and May 4, which were titled Opening and Returning to Full Capacity for Day Center Programming, Infection Prevention Principles, are cancelled. The sessions will be rescheduled with dates yet to be determined. You can expect an email in the coming weeks to announce the new dates.

ODP Announcement 22-051 informs stakeholders that the following Fee Schedule Rates have been published as final in the Pennsylvania Bulletin:

  • Family Medical Support Assistance services funded through the Consolidated, Community Living, and Person/Family Directed Support (P/FDS) Waivers;
  • Remote Community Participation Support/Day Habilitation services funded through the Consolidated, Community Living, P/FDS, and Adult Autism Waivers; and
  • Medically Complex Life Sharing services and Transition to Independent Living payments funded through the Consolidated Waiver.

The Department of Labor and Industry’s Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR) is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) to seek input from its stakeholders as it prepares to apply to the Rehabilitation Services Administration for a competitive discretionary grant through the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021 (Pub. L. 116-260).

The grants are intended to support innovative activities aimed at increasing Competitive Integrated Employment (CIE). The priority of the grant is the “Subminimum Wage to Competitive Integrated Employment (SWTCIE) Innovative Model Demonstration Project.”
