Customized Employment Training
Attendees will learn how to develop an employer-focused approach to negotiating customized job descriptions on behalf of individuals with disabilities. Participants seeking certification are expected to commit approximately 40 hours of fieldwork with/on behalf of a learning partner under the guidance of Marc Gold & Associates (MGA) over the course of 4 months. This is the prerequisite training to complete certification through MGA.
*Certification in Discovery is a prerequisite for seeking certification in Job Development.

This training will be done completely online via Zoom. Registrants must have a computer or laptop with a webcam and will not be able to join by phone.

The Arc of Pennsylvania will host ACRE certification training sessions held in Houston, PA from April 15–17 and Reading, PA from May 18–20, 2020. These ACRE certification trainings are a combination of both in-person and online training and are for providers of Supported Employment services (this also includes providers of Career Planning services in the Adult Autism Waiver).
Please refer to the flyers for details on sessions scheduled for April 15–17 and May 18–20, 2020. Registration is required. The registration fee will be reimbursed to participants upon successful completion of the certification requirements. Attendees who successfully complete the course can be reimbursed for travel, up to $25 total.
Priority will be given to ODP and OVR-approved Supported Employment providers (including providers of Career Planning in the Adult Autism Waiver). Small Group Employment and Community Participation Support – Prevocational Services providers may register and attend as space allows.

The Arc of Pennsylvania will host ACRE certification training sessions in Malvern, PA from Monday, April 15 – Wednesday, April 17, 2019. This ACRE certification training, a combination of both in-person and online training, is for providers of supported employment services.
Registration is required and is open until April 1, 2019. The project will reimburse attendees up to $25 for travel expenses they incur to attend and participate in the training, upon successful completion of the ACRE certification.
