ODP Employment Symposiums for October 17 and October 22 Have Been Cancelled
The Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) has announced that the remaining 2025 Employment Symposiums, which were scheduled for October 17 and October 22, have been cancelled. Both will be rescheduled for a later date.
Adult MH and Children’s Services Committee Meetings to Be Postponed to November
The Adult Mental Health and Children’s Services Committee meetings for Wednesday, October 8, 2025, have been cancelled. RCPA will announce details of a potential combined meeting in November once information is available. Pennsylvania Cancels Procurement for Agency With Choice
The Office of Long-Term Living (OLTL) has announced the cancellation of the procurement for Agency with Choice. RCPA and partners in the Coalition for Choice had opposed this new service and advocated for canceling the procurement. You can view the announcement here.

RCPA’s August 15 Outpatient Rehabilitation Committee Meeting Cancelled
RCPA’s Outpatient Rehabilitation Committee meeting on August 15 has been cancelled due to conflicts encountered by individuals scheduled to present at the meeting. RCPA PD&A Meeting for July 17 Cancelled
The RCPA Physical Disabilities & Aging Committee meeting that was scheduled for Wednesday, July 17, has been cancelled. RCPA is working on a new date for the meeting and will inform members as soon as this has been scheduled.

RCPA 988/Crisis Work Group Meeting Cancelled
This is an announcement that the 988/Crisis Work Group meeting scheduled for Wednesday, May 22, has been cancelled. RCPA will reschedule the meeting in the coming months. Currently, there is no movement or update in the OMHSAS Crisis Regulations release for public comment. Additionally, at this time, OMHSAS is making structural changes in their Policy and Crisis divisions. There are legislatively very few federal or state bills suggesting substantive changes in the development of the 988 system.
