Site Maintenance Scheduled for MyODP October 26–30
The Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) has shared that the MyODP learning site will not be accessible from 4:00 pm on Thursday, October 26, 2023, until 9:00 am on Monday, October 30, 2023, due to site maintenance. During this time, the MyODP home page and resource site will continue to be available. Please plan accordingly for accessing and completing training resources.
Registration Now Open for December CI Forum; Q&A Documents Now Available
The Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) has shared ODPANN 23-082: Registration Now Open for December Certified Investigator (CI) Forum & How to Access CI Forum Question & Answer (Q&A) Documents. This communication announces that the Temple University Harrisburg Certified Investigator Program and ODP will be facilitating forums for CIs and others involved in the incident investigation process. It also confirms the posting of Q&A documents from past CI Forums on MyODP. Please review the announcement for information and details.

PA Secondary Transition Website Releases October Transition Tidbits Newsletter
The PA Secondary Transition website focuses on the multistep process that guides a youth from high school into adult living after they leave school. PA Secondary Transitions issues a monthly newsletter with relevant information for transitioning youth and their families.
The focus of October’s newsletter is National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) and useful tips for discussing employment with those in transition.

Registration Now Open for Session 2 of ODP’s Policy Division’s Virtual Meeting
The Office of Development Programs (ODP) has announced registration information for an opportunity to have a conversation with their policy division. This webinar/conversation is for individuals and families who are just beginning to learn about ODP or who want a basic understanding of the topic being discussed. This event will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2023, from 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm. Registration information and additional details are included in the announcement.
2023 Fall QM Spotlight Special Edition Now Available
The Pennsylvania Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) has shared an informational flyer for ODP’s Division of Quality Management’s QM Spotlight, the seventh in a series of quarterly publications that “connects the dots” between Quality Management (QM), Risk Management (RM), and Incident Management (IM). Administrative Entities (AE), Supports Coordination Organizations (SCO), Providers, Quality Assessment and Improvement (QA&I) reviewers, and others in the service system should reference this information as they work toward achieving ODP’s vision to “continuously improve an effective system of accessible services and supports that are flexible, innovative, and person-centered.”
ODP Announces Approved Revision to the ARPA Funded Initiative for Family Support Innovation to CPS Services
The Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) has announced that the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has approved ODP’s proposal to expand funding made available to Administrative Entities (AE) and Counties to support individuals and families on the waiting list. This will allow for the pursuit of innovative strategies to provide alternatives to Community Participation Support (CPS) services. Please read the announcement for full details.
Important Clarification From ODP Regarding Expansion and Recovery Funds
The Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) has clarified that providers of Small Group Employment and Benefits Counseling are eligible for the previously-announced Expansion and Recovery Funds. Originally, providers were told these services were not eligible for the funding. Providers who have already submitted their application may want to consider sending an additional request if they did not include small group employment.
