SIS-A

The Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) has shared ODPANN 24-044 and the accompanying instructions. The purpose of this announcement is to outline criteria and provide instructions for requesting a SIS-A 2nd Edition reassessment for individuals who receive residential services and whose 2023 SIS-A assessment resulted in a Needs Group (NG) decrease of two or more levels.

The Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) has shared ODPANN 24-028, which introduces the new SIS-A Discrepancy Form. This announcement also provides guidance on how to submit a review request when discrepancies are identified in a finalized SIS-A Report. All requests must be submitted on this form within 120 days (4 months) of the SIS interview date. The SIS-A Discrepancy Review form can also be accessed in the following ways:

  • On the MyODP SIS website landing page; and/or
  • By scanning the QR Code in the bulletin.

Starting January 1, 2024, all SIS-A Assessments will be conducted using the Supports Intensity Scale-Adult® 2nd Edition. The Arc of PA is partnering with the Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) in hosting a webinar on February 7, 2024, from 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm. The webinar will educate individuals and families on the changes and enhancements to the SIS-A evaluation. Register here.

This announcement discusses the planned release of the SIS-A 2nd Edition and the name change/rebranding of Kepro to Acentra Health.
