The Office of Long-Term Living (OLTL) announced that the department will be releasing the CHC and OBRA Waivers Amendments, as well as the proposed Rate Refresh Study details, in early June. In light of this information, the PD&A meeting currently scheduled for May 29 will be rescheduled. A new date and time will be sent to members as soon as the dates of these releases are available.

The Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) has shared ODPANN 24-031, which informs all interested stakeholders of the submission of the Consolidated, Community Living, Person/Family Directed Support (P/FDS), and Adult Autism Waiver (AAW) amendments that contain Workforce Recovery Supplemental Payments to CMS and provides guidance for requesting these payments. The submitted waiver amendments are available on the Department of Human Services website.

The Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) has shared ODPANN 24-008. The purpose of this communication is to provide clarification regarding new residential qualification requirements in waiver amendments, effective November 1, 2023, including the release of a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document. The Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) has shared the updated communication, ODPANN 23-076: Annual Submittal of Financial Statements. The purpose of this announcement is to remind residential providers and support coordination organizations (SCO) that they are required to provide a *PDF of their fiscal year-end financial statements with the approval of the most recent waiver amendments. The waiver amendments were approved October 18, 2023.

The Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) has shared an ODP Announcement titled Now Available: Amendments to the Office of Developmental Programs’ (ODP) Waivers Approved by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). This communication announces the availability of the CMS approved Waiver Amendments on the Department of Human Services (DHS) website.

ODP will be holding two webinars to provide a general overview of major changes made in these approved waiver amendments. There will be time during the session for presenters to answer questions submitted by participants during the webinar. The date, time, and registration link for these webinars are as follows:

The Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) held two informational webinars regarding the new waiver amendments that became effective in January 2023. Some of the changes will go into effect when Appendix K expires, most likely in November of 2023. Other changes are in effect now. The recordings of the sessions are available on MyODP.
