2023 Pennsylvania Autism Training Conference
The Office of Developmental Programs’ (ODP) Pennsylvania Autism Training Conference (PATC) will be held virtually. The conference will be conducted on a three-day schedule that will include presentations and panels from subject matter experts, providers, self-advocates, and families. Personal narratives will be interspersed throughout the conference to highlight the perspective of the individual which should remain at the core of what we do.
This conference will provide professionals working directly with children and/or adults with autism with tools, strategies, and resources to help provide the most effective support. This year’s theme is PATC: Ignite. Join the virtual conference this fall to learn from individuals with lived experience, researchers, providers, and more!

Move Your Way Lunch and Learn
An initiative to promote physical activity to help everyone lead healthier lives. Please join us to learn about Move Your Way! Based on the CDC Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans, the US Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion developed a promotional campaign called Move Your Way. This training will provide an overview of the Move Your Way campaign and help the listener understand the importance of physical activity, the recommended amounts, and how it all adds up to better health.

Behavioral Support Plans (BSPs): Goals, Objectives, Desired Behavioral Outcomes and More!
This one-hour training will emphasize the connection between the BSP and the Individual Support Plan (ISP) with a focus on prioritizing behaviors and working with the team to implement the BSP.

The Office of Children, Youth and Families (OCYF) is pleased to announce the continuation of their partnership with the Office of Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services (OMHSAS) in contracting with Lakeside Global Institute to provide PA Child Welfare Professionals FREE trauma training. The Office of Long-Term Living (OLTL) has released the agenda and details to register for the November 1, 2023, Managed Long-Term Services and Supports (MLTSS) Subcommittee meeting. The mission of the MLTSS Subcommittee is to be a resource to the Medical Assistance Advisory Committee (MAAC), enabling the Committee to advise the Department of Human Services (DHS) and OLTL on issues regarding access to services and quality of service.
