Marijuana Update: New Legislation, Clinical Considerations, and Evidence-Based Indications

RCPA will be holding a special training session on Thursday, August 31, from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm, entitled Marijuana Update: New Legislation, Clinical Considerations, and Evidence-Based Indications. Act 16 in Pennsylvania has legalized the use of non-FDA approved cannabis compounds for use in the treatment of serious medical conditions. Marina Goldman, MD, is an expert in this arena and will be presenting a detailed overview of cannabis; the addictive potential, cannabis use disorder in adolescents, and treatment using specific targeted interventions. The afternoon will include a panel to address various issues including legislative action. The training will be held at the Best Western Premier, 800 East Park Drive, in Harrisburg.
