The 2023 RCPA Annual Conference A Decade of Unity plans to start off strong with a full lineup of workshops addressing current trends and ideas in health and human services. Held at the Hershey Lodge October 10 – 13, the conference will showcase a wide range of topics and host plenty of opportunities for CEUs. The Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) has shared ODPANN 23-062 Medication Administration Paper Course Discontinuation Reminder and Train-the-Trainer Summer 2023 Schedule. The purpose of this communication is to remind Medication Administration trainers that the 2004 paper course, as well as the 2004 and 2013 manuals, will be discontinued and no longer valid for use in training students after December 31, 2023. The Train-the-Trainer Summer 2023 Face-to-Face Schedule is also in the communication.

The Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) shared a flyer regarding ODP’s Division of Quality Management’s QM Spotlight, the fifth in a series of quarterly publications that introduces ODP’s new QM template — developed in Excel — that is intended to assist entities with data collection, monitoring, and analysis. Administrative Entities (AEs), Supports Coordination Organizations (SCOs), Providers, Quality Assessment and Improvement (QA&I) reviewers, and anyone responsible for information/data management should reference this information.
